May 08, 2025 (newstodate): The position as WFS Denmark MD has now finally been filled on a permanent basis, after a period with interim leadership since October 2024.
Taking the seat from May 1, 2025, is Danish national Inge Briand de Crevecoeur, replacing Jimi Hansen, SVP of Operational Excellence for EMEAA, who was called back to Copenhagen Airport to lead WFS Denmark on an interim basis as Thomas Egeland left the company.
Ms Briand de Crevecoeur is certainly no newcomer to the industry, bringing in not least rich international experience after a start as trainee with Scan-Shipping in Denmark, 1990-93.
After that the career led to years in exec positions in the USA, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, serving companies including LCL Export, Shipco, BAX Global, Support Plus Europe, K&N, DHL Freight, and Marken, interspersed with years in Denmark serving with companies including TNT and Borsen.
Before joining WFS Denmark, Ms Briand de Crevecoeur last served as CEO at SEAFRIGO in New Jersey from May 2022.
Following the acquisition by March 2024 of TT in Arlanda, Sweden, WFS changed the organizational setup in Scandinavia, separating the organizations in Denmark and Sweden, both referring to Marc Claesen, WFS Snr VP Commercial EMEAA.
