May 08, 2025 (newstodate): Sweden's Gothenburg continues reporting strong growth in flown cargo volumes in 2025.
In April 2025, the airport thus handled a total of 1,834 tonnes of cargo which was an increase by 46.9 percent, y-o-y.
With 1,015 tonnes, imports were till dominating with an increase by 32.7 percent, but exports grew even more by 69.5 percent to 818 tonnes.
In the first four months of this year, the airport has thus seen its total volumes up by 61.1 percent, y-o-y, to 7,357 tonnes including 4,033 tonnes of imports up 52.8 percent and 3,324 tonnes of exports, also up by 72.6 percent.
