Mar 11, 2025 (newstodate): The Norwegian low-cost carrier Norwegian and UNICEF have extended their partnership agreement for another four years, running till the end of 2028.
   Under the agreement, first inked in 2007, Norwegian operates flights for UNICEF allocating aircraft and crews free of charge, and so far the cooperation has contributed a value of 65 mio Norwegian crowns to UNICEF's global aid programs.
   Celebrating the extension of the agreement, Norwegian is today operating its seventh relief flight with a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft carrying 7.2 tonnes of relief equipment to Sierra Leone from Copenhagen Airport, close to UNICEF's Global Supply Hub.
