Mar 18, 2024 (newstodate): A new carrier in Uzbekistan, FlyKhiva is now readying for take-off with its first Boeing 767-300F.
Based at Tashkent, the carrier, part of the FlyKhiva Group, has taken over the 25 years old freighter on a lease contract with Icelandair that put one of its two aircraft on the ACMI market as part of its restructuring process.
Founded in January 2021, FlyKhiva started operations using leased aircraft from Azerbaijan Airlines to develop passenger, cargo and business aviation, as well as operating domestic and international flights.
