Mar 07, 2024 (newstodate): Starting from June 17, 2024, SAS will be operating daily rotations between Copenhagen and Atlanta, SkyTeam's hub, starting out with Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and changing to five weekly rotations in the winter 2024/25 schedule using Airbus A350-900.

   -Cargo transportation is expected to play an important role for this route, partly because of its proximity to the Port of Savannah, the largest and fastest-growing container terminal in America, the message reads.
   In the coming summer '24 traffic, SAS' route Copenhagen-New York will be served with up to two daily flights, complementing the existing daily flights to New York-Newark Airport from Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen.
   Copenhagen to Boston flights will operate daily, up from six times a week during summer, and in addition a fourth weekly flight will be added on the route from Copenhagen to Toronto.
