Mar 18, 2024 (newstodate): The Danish Ireland-HQ'ered aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital has now completed its contract with the Indian regional carrier Star Air.
   On March 13, 2024, the fourth E175 aircraft from NAC touched down at Bengalaru's Kishangarh Airport, bringing the airline's all-Embraer fleet to a total of nine aircraft.
   Star Air took delivery of its first Embraer E175 in February 2023, and the second of unit arrived in March 2023 - both on lease contract with Nordic Aviation Capital.
   NAC landed its first aircraft leasing contract with Star Air in September 2022, placing two E175 aircraft with the carrier based at Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore.
   In January 2023, the cooperation was expanded under a new leasing contract, comprising the addition of another two Embraer E175 aircraft.
   Star Air is the aviation operation of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, which entered scheduled aviation as a regional routes operator in 2019 with five ERJ145 aircraft.
