Mar 05, 2024 (newstodate): Lithuania's aircraft maintenance company FL Technics is consolidating its foothold in the United Arab Emirates.
   The company has thus now extended its General Civil Aviation Authority CAR 145 certification from L4 to L5, solidifying its standing as a provider of comprehensive aviation maintenance solutions in the Middle East region.
    The latest L5 certification authorizes FL Technics UAE to perform aircraft modifications, enhancing its capabilities to support the growing needs of airlines operating in the region.
   In December, the company becme the first independent aircraft maintenance provider in the new Abu Dhabi Terminal, initially offering line maintenance services for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and now offering a comprehensive suite of GCAA-certified AMO solutions to airlines operating from the terminal.
   The new position at Abu Dhabi comes after the opening in March 2019 of FL Technics' EASA certified Line maintenance station at Dubai International Airport.
