Mar 14, 2024 (newstodate): Air Atlanta Icelandic is to acquire three Boeing 747-400F aircraft from a Taiwanese airline.
China Airlines is to divest of five Boeing 747-400F freighter, with three heading for ownership by Air Atlanta Icelandic, with deliveries during April-October 2014.
The two other freighter aircraft have been acquired by the South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines.
These sales represent 50 percent of China Airlines' current fleet of Boeing 747 freighter fleet.
China Airlines is replacing the five aircraft manufactured during 2001-2003 with new Boeing 777F freighter aircraft.
