Mar 20, 2024 (newstodate): GetJet Airlines Latvia has achieved an important FAA certification: Part 129 Operation Specification.
With the new certification, the carrier is allowed to operate passenger flights to and from the United States.
The approval process required some five months to complete and required rigorous checks and procedures conducted by the FAA, the Department of Transportation, and the Transportation Security Administration.
With Rolands Ramins as its CEO, GetJet Latvia obtained its Latvian AOC on November 30, 2022, marking a milestone for GetJet Airlines, the Lithuanian IOSA-approved ACMI and Charter carrier in its expansion to Latvia.
Today, Getjet Airlines Latvia's fleet comprises only one Airbus A320 aircraft, delivered in February 2024.
In the fleet of the Lithuanian Getjet Airlines are now six Airbus A320, five Boeing 737-800 and one Airbus A321 aircraft.
