Mar 11, 2024 (newstodate): Indonesian skies have now been fully opened for the Icelandic member of the Avia Solutions Group, BBN Airlines Indonesia.
The carrier, managed by Martynas Grigas as Chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia, obtained its AOC on August 31, 2023, allowing it to provide the archipelago with airfreight and logistics services.
Now, BBN Indonesia has been granted a second AOC opening up for commercial passenger flight operations as well, allowing the company to serve not only domestic needs but also cater to requests from neighboring countries in the Asia/Oceanic region.
In the fleet of BBN Indonesia are now three Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft and three cargo aircraft including one Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 737-400 freighters for domestic and international flights.
With the existing fleet and increasing demand, BBN Airlines Indonesia targets operating a total of 40 aircraft by 2027.
