Mar 13, 2024 (newstodate): Oslo Airport is gaining fresh momentum in flown cargo volumes in 2024 after a bleak performance in 2023.
In January '24 the airport saw its flown cargo volumes up by eight percent, y-o-y, and the positive trend continued in February with an increase by 22 percent, y-o-y, to a total of 14,661 tonnes.
As usual, international cargo determines the overall picture, in February growing by 25 percent, y-o-y, to 13,840 tonnes.
In the first months of this year, Oslo Airport is thus seeing an increase by 15 percent in flown cargo volumes, totaling 29,005 tonnes of which 27,331 tonnes were international cargo, increasing 17 percent, y-o-y.
