Feb 13, 2024 (newstodate): The new Uzbek cargo carrier My Freighter is rapidly building up capacity with new aircraft in the fleet.
First in Uzbekistan to register a Boeing 747-200 on October 23, 2022, My Freighter is now operating three cargo aircraft also including two Boeing 767-300 freighter aircraft, the latest of which was acquired on a lease contract in January 2024, while a fourth Boeing 767-300 is already awaiting delivery, due in the coming weeks.
My Freighter was established in 2019 with ambitions to add up to five more similar aircraft and grow the fleet to 20 units within five years.
The carrier and its aircraft are based at Tashkent International Airport, and operates warehouses in ten major cities in China, as well as in Russia and Europe.
My Freighter has its own cargo collection points in the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands, as well as cargo collection points in the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, as well as Brazil and Vietnam.
In 2023, My Freighter set up a new subsidiary in the passenger market, Centrum Air starting out with a fleet of five aircraft, wet-leased from Lithuania's GetJet Group, including two Boeing 737 and three Airbus A320 aircraft to offer domestic flights connecting five airports in Uzbekistan, and later to expand the network to comprise international destinations in markets including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, India, and South Korea.
