Feb 02, 2024 (newstodate): Tallinn Airport will see construction works on its coming new cargo terminal starting in spring 2024.
When competed in summer 2025 already, the airport will benefit from a modern logistics center meeting international standards and promoting growth in the cargo volumes handled at the airport.
One thing remains to be announced, though: who is to manage and operate the new cargo facility?
-We have already secured the lease contract for next 10 years for the cargo terminal, but according to the contract we cannot reveal them just yet – we are waiting for their announcement, says Teet Raudsep, AS Airport City CEO, on newstodate's inquiry.
When completed, the cargo terminal will cover an area totaling 5,250 m2, including 1,450 m2 of office space and 3,800 m2 of warehouse space, as well as offering loading bays for 57 trucks.
