Feb 28, 2024 (newstodate): As in previous years, Korean Air is to operate charter flights from Seoul, Korea, to Norway's Oslo Airport.
This year, the carrier will call at Oslo Airport with one weekly flight during the period from June 19 to August 21, 2024, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft offering more capacity than the Boeing 787-9 aircraft used in earlier seasons.
The flights are operated for the Korean tour operator Hanjin Travel and are not available for Norwegian passenger bookings, while Norwegian seafood shipments are welcome in the belly hold.
Korean Air's seasonal flights between Seoul Incheon Airport and Oslo Gardermoen Airport were first launched in 2013 for two Korean travel companies as the first call by the Korean carrier to Norway with passenger flights.
On the cargo side, Korean Air has been online with scheduled freighter flights since March 9, 2004, today operating two weekly freighter flights from Oslo using Boeing 777F aircraft.
This summer will also see the South Korean hybrid carrier Air Premia on the tarmac during the period from June 11 till August 22, 2024, with two weekly rotations on the route connecting Seoul Incheon and Oslo Airport with Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
