Feb 07, 2024 (newstodate): Based at Male Airport, in the Maldives, the new luxury airline Beond has added a second aircraft to its fleet.
New to enter service shortly will be an Airbus A321 currently undergoing reconfiguration to seat 68 discerning customers in premium, all-lay flat seating.
In November 2023, Beond launched commercial passenger services from Munich, Zurich, and Riyadh to the airline’s first hub at Male, Maldives.
The second aircraft will support Beond’s expansion from Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok to the Maldives commencing from mid-2024.
Heading the carrier as CEO is Estonian national Tero Taskila, well-known in the Baltic aviation industry from earlier positions with companies including Estonian Air and airBaltic.
