Feb 19, 2024 (newstodate): Air Serbia is close to take in the first of three more ATR 72-600 aircraft from the Danish aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital.
   The two parties signed the repeat order in January 2024, following on the first contract inked in January 2022 for lease of six ATR 72-600 aircraft.
   The first aircraft was handed over to Air Serbia in May 2022, and the sixth and last in the series was delivered in January 2023.
   In the meantime, one of the six ATR aircraft currently leased from NAC suffered a severe incident on February 19, 2024, hitting an airport installation on departure from Belgrade airport.
