Feb 07, 2024 (newstodate): Air India is settled in the Nordic markets with an own office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The office is managed by Aviareps that has been contracted by Air India as GSA to provide passenger sales in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
Local Aviareps offices and teams will now serve as local touchpoints in bringing the carrier's product to the Nordic markets, connected to India by Air India's currently four weekly rotations on the route between Copenhagen and Delhi.
Air India launched flights on the route from March 1, 2023, with three weekly rotations using Boeing 787-8 aircraft, contracting the SAS Group's handling subsidiary SGH for passenger handling, while WFS provides the carrier with cargo handling.
