Feb 12, 2024 (newstodate): Despite all the issues for Russia's civil aviation due to Western sanctions, Aeroflot has no problems with flight safety, the airline claims.
   In 2023, the airline increased its production hours by 21.5 percent, y-o-y, and by 13.1 percent, compared to 2021. However, the number of incidents in 2023 remained at the average level of previous years.  
   At the same time, the average flight time per incident improved; in 2021 it was 4,200 hours, in 2022 increasing to 5,100 hours, and in 2023 further up to 5,700 hours.  
   Thus, incidents in 2023 were recorded less frequently than in previous years two years, despite the fact that the total flying time has increased, the carrier reports.
