Jan 12, 2024 (newstodate): The new Ukrainian cargo airline Supernova set up by Nova Poshta is readying to take a further step in building up its fleet capacity.
Currently operating two AN-26 cargo aircraft with limited range, the airline is in the process of acquiring one Boeing 757-200F to provide capacity on longer routes, where the company is today relying solely on cooperation with other airlines.
Prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Nova Poshta was already planning for acquisition of two Boeing 757-200F aircraft to bring in Chinese e-trade commodities to Ukraine for onward distribution in Ukraine and other markets, enhancing Nova Poshta's control of its logistics.
