Jan 29, 2024 (newstodate): The ACMI market will soon see the entrance of a new provider and competitor: Fly4 Airlines.
The fledgling airline is set up in cooperation between the Polish carrier Enter Air as the majority owner and the charter airline TUI holding the minority of the shares.
With HQs in Ireland, Fly4 Airlines plans to lift off on its first commercial service later in 2024, and the fleet will initially comprise four Boeing 737-800 aircraft of which the first, taking to the air in 2011 in the fleet of TUI Nordic, has now left the paint shop.
Enter Air and TUI have been cooperating closely for years, and Fly4 will provide aircraft capacity for both airlines while operating freely in the ACMI market for third-party airlines as well.
