Jan 26, 2024 (newstodate): Slovenian efforts to lure foreign airlines to provide a rebound in the country's air connectivity is bearing fruit in 2024.
Thanks to an attracting incentives program, Norwegian is now opening flights on their first route to the country connecting Ljubljana and Copenhagen starting from April 29, 2024, and soon to follow is the launch of flights by airBaltic, Corendon Airlines and Iberia that will all commence services to Ljubljana this summer season.
And Slovenia's efforts do not stop here: a new tender closing on February 12, 2024, is out calling airlines to introduce new routes to the country over a period of three years.
