Jan 11, 2024 (newstodate): Finnair is now preparing to install a new CEO by July 11, 2024 "at the latest": Turkka Kuusisto.
   Mr Kuusisto will join Finnair from serving as CEO with Posti Group Corporation since 2020 - and prior to that holding senior leadership positions in Posti Group Corporation and in Lindorff Group.
   In a surprising release on August 18, 2023, Finnair announced the retreat from the office of CEO and President by Topi Manner who had been in charge since January 1, 2019, leading Finnair through challenging times including the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of Russian airspace.
   Leaving Finnair on January 15. 024, Mr Manner is moving on to become CEO at the Finnish company Elisa Corporation.
   Covering the position as CEO on an interim basis till Mr Manner's successor finally takes the rudder is Jaakko Schildt, Finnair COO.
