Jan 04, 2024 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group is advancing in its plans for operating five airlines in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Already now, the Group's subsidiary BBN Indonesia has taken delivery of four new aircraft, including one Boeing 737-400SF and three B737-800NG aircraft, joining the fleet initially comprising two Boeing 737-800F.
The four new aircraft will undergo a redelivery check at FL Technics Indonesia before starting commercial operations at the beginning of 2024 on both domestic and international routes, with a focus on the China to Bali route.
Managed by Martynas Grigas as Chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia, the carrier obtained its AOC on August 31, 2023.
Next in line is the launch of a second Asian subsidiary, BBN Airlines Thailand, now in the process of obtaining its AOC after submitting the first documents package in November 2023.
The coming new Thai carrier will be offering charter and ACMI services in the cargo and passenger markets, with a fleet initially comprising four and growing to 16 Airbus A320 Family aircraft by the end of 2025.
