Jan 03, 2024 (newstodate): The Lithuanian charter and ACMI airline Heston Airlines is now in its third year of operations in Nigeria.
   The airline's first ACMI contract in Africa was landed with Nigeria's Aero Contractors starting by late November 2021 comprising the lease of two Airbus A320 aircraft operating for Aero Contractors on domestic and regional routes.
   Now, Heston Airlines has signed a contract with a second Nigerian carrier, NG Eagle for one Airbus A320 aircraft to operate domestic flights from Abuja Airport to Ikeja, Benin, Kano, and Port Harcourt.
   NG Eagle obtained its AOC in September 2021 and performed its first commercial flight on December 10, 2023, with Heston Airlines' Airbus A320.
