Jan 16, 2024 (newstodate): Finnair is to return year-round flights to its second destination in Estonia: Tartu, in the southern part of the country.
Starting from March 31, 2024, the carrier will be offering two daily rotations six days a week on the route connecting Helsinki and Tartu as the airport's only scheduled carrier.
The 40-minutes flight services will be provided with Norra's ATR-500 aircraft.
From October 30, 2011, Flybe started operating the route on behalf of Finnair, but on May 01, 2015, Finnair took over the route, with Norra as the operator.
The service was, however, suspended by the end of the Summer 2022 schedule.
