Jan 16, 2024 (newstodate): Sonderborg Airport in Southern Denmark will have a new CEO: Jakup Sverri Kass.
   A Faroese national, Mr Kass will take the seat on February 15, 2024, succeeding Christian Berg that has managed the airport since 2016.
   Jakup Sverri Kass has served in various positions  in the Faroese airport and airline industries including years as Managing Director of Vagar Airport from 2012 til 2017 and prior to that Atlantic Airways director marketing & sales from 2009 till 2012.
   Mr Kass also served with Greenland's Kalaallit Airport from 2016 till 2020, first as interim CEO during the formative years of the company and later as Board member after a permanent CEO was named.
