Jan 09, 2024 (newstodate): Formerly trading as Estonian Post, Omniva is soon to open a new logistics center at Lithuania's Kaunas Airport.
Backed by investments from SEB, Omniva's new facility will launch operations already from Q2, 2024, covering more than 21,000 m2 and located near Kaunas Airport and the planned Rail Baltic railway line.
The coming new logistics facility will automate and centralize parcel sorting in the Lithuanian market, establish a regional hub, and serve as an attractive partner for major e-commerce platforms.
Omniva first entered the Lithuanian market in 2021 with an international transit sorting center in Kaunas in cooperation with Hoptrans Logistics to sort international e-commerce shipments primarily coming in from China and redistributed to various countries around the world.
