Jan 25, 2024 (newstodate): In 2024, Croatia Airlines will become a new operator of Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
   In 2022, the carrier placed a firm order with Airbus for acquisition of six A220-300 aircraft, and announced plans to take in a further nine aircraft on lease from various sources.
   The six A220-300 ordered from Airbus will be put on a sale-lease back agreement with Air Lease Corporation, while three aircraft will be leased from Azzora and another six from Griffin Global Asset Management.  
   The first two aircraft are due for delivery during H2/2024, and the final deliveries will be completed by 2027.
