Jan 30, 2024 (newstodate): Blue Water Shipping is on a steep growth trajectory on a global scale, and is adjusting its sales organization correspondingly.
   One example, reported yesterday, is the appointment of Jan Dam Poulsen as Blue Water Shipping Regional Director Sea & Air, Nordic - a new position, and one element in BW's strengthening of the management of its presence in the region.
   -This new organization delegates responsibility for both sales and operations in a region spanning several markets to the regional level, as well as bringing the company even closer to the customers, says Jan Hjortlund Hansen, BWS Head of Communications.
   -While this is not in any way a revolutionary measure, it signals that as the company expands into new markets and opens new offices on a global scale, there is a need to decentralize the management of sales and operations to the pertinent regional levels.
   -We can expect more similar regional changes to be announced, probably concerning the European and Middle East markets, says Mr Hjortlund Hansen.
