Jan 04, 2024 (newstodate): Provider of ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, Baltic Ground Services has extended its cooperation with the Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines.
Under a new agreement, BGS will provide SkyUp Airlines with into-plane fueling at Riga and Tallinn Airports until March 2024.
The cooperation between the two parties started in 2022 with BGS providing SkyUp Airlines with ground handling services at Vilnius International Airport in Lithuania for a period of three years, as well as into-plane fuelling services at Riga International Airport in Latvia and Tallinn International Airport in Estonia for a period of six months - now extended.
Chartered by the tour operator Join UP! for flights to Mediterranean leisure destinations, SkyUp Airlines entered the Baltic market from the summer 2022 schedule, with five weekly flights from Vilnius to Antalya from April 30, 2022, followed by two weekly flights from Riga and three weekly flights from Tallinn shortly after.
