Sep 28, 2023 (newstodate): Maybe not a big surprise: Aviator has won the five-year contract with Wizz Air for handling of the coming new LCC flights at Stockholm Airport.
   Aviator is thus expanding its cooperation with Wizz Air already comprising the carrier's 36 weekly flights at Malmo Sturup Airport and some 18 weekly flights at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.
   Wizz Air is opening its first flights at Stockholm Arlanda Airport by October 31, 2023, including flights on two routes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Budapest served four times weekly, and to Gdansk offering 14 weekly rotations with Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
   While new at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, the two routes are no novelties in the Stockholm region, moved instead from the airline's current hub at Stockholm Skavsta Airport by the end of this summer schedule.
   Wizz Air's operations at Stockholm Skavsta have been handled by the airport's own handling company.
