Sep 08, 2023 (newstodate): One thing is for sure: the start-up LCC long haul carrier Norse Atlantic Airways is not afraid of competitors..
As one fresh proof of this, the carrier has announced the opening of flights on its third route between Paris CDG and the USA: Los Angeles.
The route will open on May 1, 2024, with six weekly rotations using Boeing 787 of which the carrier now has 10 units in the fleet.
Norse is already serving flights from Paris CDG to New York JFK Airport, and in December 2023 flights will be added on a new route between Paris CDG and Miami International Airport.
And on all these routes, Norse will be facing stiff competition from established carriers, including Air France and Delta Air Lines.
Norse Atlantic Airways is now operating from five European capital destinations including London, Paris, Rome and Berlin as well as it home turf Oslo.
Founded in February 2021, Norse Atlantic Airways performed its inaugural flight on June 14, 2022, from Oslo Airport to New York JFK and now operates a fleet comprising 15 Boeing 787 aircraft, five of which are now on wet-lease contracts with other operators.
