Sep 08, 2023 (newstodate): For Ukraine's leading tour operator JoinUp!, business is not focused on revenue and profits alone: Corporate Social Responsibility has taken on a special meaning in the face of Russia's war on the country.
Join UP! thus initiated the first program of recovery at sea resorts abroad for servicemen of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war in February 2022.
To date, 454 servicemen and 22 members of their families have rested at the resorts of the Red Sea in Egypt to re-energize in a changed environment.
Thus, 89.6 percent of the interviewed participants of the recreation program noted that the trip had a positive effect on their psychological state, and 74.8 percent of respondents emphasized that the trip also had a positive effect on their physical condition.
For 46.1 percent of respondents, this was the first vacation since the start of the full-scale invasion, and at the same time, for among 40.9 percent of those who had a vacation, it was often a rehabilitation period after injuries.
-It is important that most of the interviewees have been at the front since the beginning of the full-scale war, and some of them had already stood up for the defense of their native country long before that, JoinUp! says on LinkedIn.
The two owners of JoinUp!, Tatiana and Yuri Alba, are also holding 50 percent of the stakes in the Ukrainian charter and ACMI carrier SkyUp Airlines.
