Sep 18, 2023 (newstodate): The Danish logistics company Scan Global Logistics has announced its third acquisition so far into 2023: Belglobe GmbH.
   Through this transaction, SGL adds Switzerland to its portfolio now comprising own presence in 48 countries.
   Founded in 1994, Belglobe provides logistics solutions within temperature-controlled pharma transport as well as high-security transport of luxury goods.
   In addition, Belglobe holds a strong position in the Latin American market through many years of special airfreight services and close customer relations.
   Earlier this year, SGL also acquired the German company ETS Transport & Logistics and the Danish haulier Sand Road Freight.
   This latest acquisition in Switzerland brings SGL yet another step towards its goal to have local representation in 60 countries and presence in 24 out of 25 of the world’s largest economies.
