   As one example, Russia's Reserve Fund has again been forced to allocate 2.6 bio rubles to support 18 airports in the central and southern regions as partial compensation of their operating expenses due to the extension of the temporary flight restriction regime in effect for 18 months.
   Already in May 2023, a similar pay-out was granted to the airport that have been without any flight operations since the start of the war.
   The airports receiving funds under the support scheme are Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Elista, Lipetsk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Simferopol
