Sep 04, 2023 (newstodate): SAS has named two new executives to steer the ailing airline in the ongoing period of restructuring.
   A new CCO has thus been named: Dutch national Paul Verhagen who took up the position already by August 14, 2023.
   Mr Verhagen brings in 25 years of executive experience in the airline and hospitality industries, having worked in 11 different countries across Europe, the Americas, the Caribbean, and Asia, as well as previous Scandinavian experience as Regional Director for Norway, Finland & the Baltic States at Air France KLM.
   SAS has also named US national Ginger Hughes as Chief Transformation Officer with effect from September 1, 2023.    
   Ms Hughes brings in experience from her advisory role at Seabury, where she has guided SAS through the Chapter 11 process for over a year.
