Sep 25, 2023 (newstodate): Iran is planning for opening tourist charter flights to a new, little-known region in Russia: The Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
   Part of Russia, the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria is situated in the northern Caucasus region, bordering Georgia to the south.
   According to the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Air Transport and Travel Agencies of the Republic of Iran, plans are underway for entering a contract with a Russian carrier comprising the lease of two aircraft to lift tourist streams from Iran into the Russian republic, starting already by next month.
