Sep 19, 2023 (newstodate): Blue Water Norway is adding new muscles to its services in the market for seafood and other temperature-controlled transports.
Till now managed from Blue Water’s office in Aalborg, BWS Norway has established an own team for Reefer Road business activity in Norway with four employees based in Oslo.
Reefer Road Norway manages the transport of fish and seafood from Norway to the continent with the main emphasis on exports, but offering also temperature-controlled import services.
The timing of the new Refer Road Norway has been boosted by the landing of major contracts with five new customers in Norway's seafood export industry, says BWS Norway in a release.
Starting business from September 5, 2022, Blue Water Norway entered the market for seafood air logistics, adding to the competencies of Blue Water's Global Airfreight, Reefer Road & Reefer Sea solutions.
With Morten Wurgler, Blue Water General Manager Sea & Air Norway since July 1, 2022, Blue Water Norway started out with a dedicated team of six employees, now growing to 10 people, to focus on the needs among Norwegian seafood exporters for innovative logistics solutions to bring the country's seafood exports to the global marketplace.
