Sep 11, 2023 (newstodate): August 2023 was again a month with positive growth in cargo volumes handled at Finland's Helsinki Airport.
   A total of 12,500 tonnes of cargo and mail has handled, an increase by 8.7 percent, y-o-y, marking the fourth consecutive month in 2023 with positive growth.
   In August, the growth was generated by an increase by 10 percent, y-o-y, in international cargo, to 12,317 tonnes which was however the lowest monthly volume so far this year.
   After the first eight months of this year, the airport is still down 3.6 percent, y-o-y, in total volumes at 111,211 tonnes - but continuing to pick up month by month, compared to last year.
