Aug 02, 2023 (newstodate): USA is airing its support to develop Kutaisi Airport into a significant air cargo hub in Georgia.
   Speaking at an event at Kutaisi Airport, the US ambassador to Georgia expressed hopes to see Kutaisi Airport become a hub for the transport of agricultural products grown in the region.
   -We should especially note the great benefit that it will bring to the farmers of Western Georgia if it becomes a hub for the export of agricultural products. The United States is ready to help Kutaisi Airport in this regard, the ambassador said.
   The US diplomatic mission also noted that the US authorities are working to set up an aircraft repair center and improve marketing of Kutaisi Airport.
