Aug 21, 2023 (newstodate): Turkey and Azerbaijan plans to set up a regional air navigation coordination platform for Europe and Asia.
   Named SOCEA and set up by the Turkish State Airports Authority General Directorate and Azerbaijan's air navigation service provider Azeraeronavigation, the platform will be established to ensure cooperation in air navigation services in the region and increase the effectiveness of the air traffic management.
   For a start, delegations from the two state agencies have signed a cooperation protocol also stressing that the coming new ATM platform will be open to the participation of other countries.
