By the end of this year's Q1, Norwegian operated a total of 81 aircraft, compared to 64 in Q1/2022.
Preparing for further growth in summer 2024, the carrier plans to take in additionally 15 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, while phasing out seven Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Today, the fleet comprises 68 Boeing 737-800 and 13 Boeing 737 MAX 8 operated by Norwegian Air Shuttle and Norwegian Air Sweden.
In July 2023, the carrier's order book contained deliveries of a total of 55 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
