Aug 25, 2023 (newstodate): Boeing aircraft are new in the portfolio of Nordic Aviation Capital, until this year focusing on regional aircraft lease business.
   But this is changing: in June 2023, NAC added the first Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its portfolio for cargo conversions.
   NAC Nordic Aviation Capital thus acquired three Boeing 737-800 aircraft from GECAS; two aircraft were immediately placed on a leasing contract with American Airlines, while the third aircraft started operating on a contract with Transavia France.
   However, the future of the three Boeing 737-800 lies in conversion into all-cargo aircraft, and NAC has now signed its first-ever conversion contract with Boeing for one conversion slot, with the first Boeing 737-800BCF delivered in 2026.
   Now, NAC has executed a purchase agreement with Dubai Aerospace Enterprise for one 737-800 and one 737 Max 8 leased aircraft.  
   The Boeing 737-800 is leased to EGYPTAIR, and the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft has been placed on a lease contract with Aeromexico.
