Aug 18, 2023 (newstodate): From August 20, passengers may place bookings on the first flight by American Airlines on the new route connecting Philadelphia and Copenhagen Airport!
Copenhagen Airport is thus among the airline's five new seasonal destinations in Europe, with daily rotations from Philadelphia to Copenhagen starting from June 5, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft under a program ending in October 2023.
This marks the airline's entry into the Danish market, while the carrier was online for some years with seasonal flights between Chicago and Helsinki, Finland, starting in summer 2011.
Serving the oneworld member carrier American Airlines as GSSA in the four Nordic markets since March 1, 2011, is North Air Logistics, with Jesper Raaschou as Country Manager Denmark.
