Aug 30, 2023 (newstodate): Ukraine has grown its stock of powerplants for the AN-124 Ruslan freighter fleet.
   Ukraine's Ministry of Justice had referred the issue of sanctions on four Volga-Dnepr companies to the country's Higher Anti-Corruption Court that on August 28, 2023, confirmed the confiscation of six AN-124 Lotarev D-18 turbofan engines now available for the Ukrainian operator Antonov Airline.
   In normal times, Antonov Airlines has its main base at Hostomel Airport near Kyiv, but after the Russian war on Ukraine and the destruction of Hostomel Airport, the airline relocated its remaining five aircraft to Leipzig/Halle Airport.
