Aug 18, 2023 (newstodate): The Lithuanian MRO FL Technics is again announcing a major expansion of its global reach.
Following on the announcement earlier this month of establishment of a new MRO facility in Punta Cana International Airport, the second-busiest airport in the Caribbean, FL Technics is casting its eyes on Bali, Indonesia.
FL Technics Indonesia, a subsidiary of FL Technics, and PT Angkasa Pura Properti, together with PT Angkasa Pura I, is to start the development of 17,000 m2 MRO hub, the first at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.
Member of Lithuania's Aviation Solutions Group, FL Technics plans to invest US$25 million in the initial stage to undertake an MRO construction and development project set to be finished in a year.
The new infrastructure will have a hangar with six bays to maintain narrow-body aircraft, supported by purpose-built production shops and offices.
