Aug 14, 2023 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Airport saw its cargo and mail volumes up by five percent, y-o-y, in July 2023.
A total of 13,609 tonnes was handled at the airport, primarily driven by a growth in international cargo by six percent, to a total of 12,883 tonnes.
The airport is thus firmly back on the trail to recovery, in January-July 2023 only one percent behind 2022, compared to six percent in H1/2023.
With 87,058 tonnes, international cargo through Oslo Airport is also only one percent behind levels in 2022.
July 2022 was, however, steeply down by 17 percent, y-o-y, and volumes handled at Oslo Airport in January-July 2022 were also down nine percent, y-o-y, to 94,427 tonnes, including 87,327 tonnes of international cargo that also dropped nine percent compared to the preceding year.
