Aug 10, 2023 (newstodate): Summing up cargo results during the first half of 2023, Iceland's Keflavik Airport was the only Nordic capital airport to end up with growth in volumes. And growth continued through July '23 as well.
A total of 4,859 tonnes was thus handled at Keflavik Airport in July '23, which was an increase by 10.5 percent, y-o-y.
Of the total volumes, 4,796 tonnes were cargo, up 11.5 percent, y-o-y, while mail volumes dropped 35.1 percent to just 63 tonnes.
Summing up January-July 2023, Keflavik Airport has thus seen total volumes rising 5.4 percent, y-o-y, to 29,930 tonnes.
