After a test period, the terminal's main tenant, Gardermoen Perishables Center, GPC, will officially launch regular operations from August 14, 2023.
Already by the end of July, GPC went operational at the new facility after gradually starting test production and moving in during June, leaving its existing premises leased from Avinor that will decide on the future use of the facility.
Established by the private developer Oslo Airport City, The World Seafood Center will eventually comprise 55,000 m2 terminal space, of which 20,000 m2 have been taken on an 18-years lease contract with an option for further expansion by GPC, Gardermoen Perishables Center owned by Schenker Norway, DHL and the Norwegian freight forwarder Air Cargo Logistics.
