Aug 30, 2023 (newstodate): The Danish logistics company LEMAN has now opened its first office in Mexico.
   Starting business in Queretaro, Mexico, on August 28, 2023, LEMAN has thus taken further steps to meet the strong development in the market and to strengthen LEMAN’s opportunities to service customers in North and South America.
   Mexico is the world's 11th largest economy, with significant foreign trade and significant growth potential, especially for cross-border trade to and from the US, and Mexico’s foreign trade will benefit from the global trend towards nearshoring caused by the geopolitical situation and the disruption in the supply chain that has set in recent years.  
   Part of the global production of goods is thus expected to move from Asia to e.g. Mexico.
   LEMAN has appointed Carlos Alatorre Bautista as its country manager in Mexico.
   With the opening of LEMAN's new business in Mexico, the company has grown the number of offices from 30 by the end of 2022, to 37.
